Basic Floral Design will be held at Triple Oaks Nursery, through GCC Division of Lifelong Learning. Classes are taught by Lorraine Kiefer and are scheduled for Wednesday nights from Jan. 27^th thru Mar. 3^rd . (Please bring check in amount of $180 made payable to Triple Oaks Nursery to cover cost of materials for this 6  week class).

Week 2: We will continue with "mechanics" and will provide instruction for a larger, one-sided piece (type used for buffet or against a wall). (Must bring clippers)

Learn ancient, Eastern European art of egg decorating using stylus, beeswax, and dye. Registration includes kit with dyes, stylus and instructions to take home. Please bring paper towels, pencil, taper candle stub and holder (not to measure over 6" total height). *Class also held March 7th, 1:30pm - 3pm

Learn about the history, legend, lore, and practical uses of roses, as well as simple growing techniques. Create a beautiful wreath with real, dried roses (valued at over $50), as well as rose potpourri. PLUS: Coupon for 10% off a vase of roses (non-holiday time) and 10% off a rose bush purchase. Handouts and refreshments are available   with paid registration.

Lavender Bead Necklace ClassSunday, Feb. 28^th  1:00pm$50 (plus tax) = $53.50 Take part in an ancient art once used to make rosary beads! Make an old fashion, timeless beaded necklace using string, glass beads, and silver and lavender colors. Make the lavender beads in our basement workshop using a Styrofoam tray and straight pins. Receive instruction on how to finish the necklace when the beads have dried. You will be supplied with a storage container for your necklace as well as a bottle of lavender essential oil. Rose bead recipes will also be available.
