Display Gardens

Triple Oaks Nursery started display gardens over 10 years ago to showcase the plants we sell, and to display how they behave and what size they get so customers can see what to expect and to also see what they like. We use the display gardens for stock plants for propagation, as well as for educational events and garden walks and talks. The gardens go back from the garden center sales area, through our big tree area back through the shade gardens and greenhouses, to an open area leading to the Little Ease Run which comes from Franklinville Lake and is a tributary of the Maurice River.

Our gardens feature different areas of shade and sunny areas and a wide array of plants that we sell or trial gardens. There are a few raised beds for xeric desert plants, a herbaceous tropicals berm, a bog garden, a kitchen garden and natural areas with many regional and US natives as well as non native ornamental species.
