For more than 30 years herb enthusiasts and gardeners have trekked to a little town in Southern New Jersey to sit under the trees and enjoy herbalists show and tell all about their favorite plants. Triple Oaks Nursery and Herb garden located in at 2359 Delsea in downtown Franklinville will once again host this annual herb Festival on May 31 & June 1.

Heirloom tomatoes available at Triple Oaks Posted by Joe K on August 4, 2007, 13:45:08 I have started harvesting Heirloom tomatoes and they will be available at Triple Oaks by special order. Available today is Green Grape which is a wonderful yellow green color with a fresh interesting zesty flavor. Also available is Riesentraube (German Strawberry) this is a German heirloom cherry tomato with amazing flavor. Next is Camp Joy Cherry which an heirloom from California which is a big fat cherry tomato that is incredibly sweet and tasty. If you would like to order any, please call in and request it. Those 3 listed are available and at Triple Oaks now. The price is $4.50 per pound or $20 for 5 pounds.

June is the month of roses! They certainly are one of the most beloved and popular of all flowers throughout history. Roses are often thought of as hard to grow plants, but recently the knock out rose made its claim to fame and changed rose growing. There are a lot of knock out rose fans in the garden world and most are thrilled to have another knock out in the ring! Said to be the best, Rainbow Knock Out is even more floriferous and disease-resistant than its famous parent the red knock out.

Herb & Garden lectures, demonstrations and more! May 31 and June 1 2008 Free educational event, all are welcome. For more than 30 years herb enthusiasts and gardeners have trekked to a little town in Southern New Jersey to sit under the trees and enjoy herbalists show and tell all about their favorite plants. Triple Oaks Nursery and Herb garden located in at 2359 Delsea in downtown Franklinville will once again host this annual herb Festival on May 31 and June 1 . The festivities include free lectures, informal talks and demonstrations, food samples and walks in the herb, perennial, kitchen and display gardens. Guest speakers, free demos, lectures on a variety of herbal subjects, herbal treats & May wine steeped with strawberries and woodruff make for a delightful experience. The Herb Society of America South Jersey Unit and Orchid Society will be on hand both days to answer questions and ask rose questions of the. West Jersey Rose Society. Q & A table on Sunday. Herb Weekend Schedule will soon be available. (Although there are scheduled talks, sometimes they are subject to change specialists will be available at their displays to answer questions) Lorraine Kiefer will also sign books throughout the day.
