Weird evergreen shrub with needle like foliage and fluffy red flowers in summer. Cold hardy to below zero, but plant in a warm location near a foundation if possible with some pine needle mulch for the first season or two in winter. Our plant survived -2 winter 2003 with dieback but came back strong.
